Today, Tahoe City and its surrounding hamlets along the north and west shores offer an incredible array of outdoor recreation opportunities, restaurants, shops, fitness studios, wine bars and art galleries featuring local artisans. The small-town bespoke markets offer incredible baked goods and grab and go meals for your Tahoe adventure, chefs and artists new to the area from the past few years of transition, have added to a revival to the local culinary and creative scene. Approximately 15 minutes to the nearby Alpine Meadows and Palisades Ski Resorts for world-class downhill skiing, ten minutes to Homewood Ski Resort, incredible cross-country skiing, hiking, golfing, mountain biking, swimming, power boating, sailing, kite surfing, road biking; the opportunities are endless.
